Towne Livery Debuts Lincoln Continental In Theme Video

Roaring 20s dude David Bastian of Towne Livery with an actress on the set.
BUFFALO, N.Y. — National livery vehicle dealer David Bastian got to indulge in some silent-film era stardom this week shooting a video touting the 2017 Lincoln Continental set to debut to the limousine industry Feb. 29 at the International LCT Show in Las Vegas, Nev.

Bastian, commercial sales manager of Towne Livery in Orchard Park, N.Y., in recent years has produced several videos promoting either LCT events or vehicles, or both. In this latest clip, he uses the Roaring 20s / Great Gatsby theme of the annual LCT Awards Celebration to be held Tuesday, March 1 at the Mandalay Bay.

Bastian worked with a professional production comapny, Galora creative and multimedia productions, owned and run by director Peter McGennis. The video took 10 hours to shoot on Feb. 8 and 9 at three key Buffalo area locations: The Buffalo Transportation Pierce Arrow Museum, which has 1920s era Frank Lloyd Wright-designed filling station used in the video, the Adam Mickiewicz Library and the Buffalo Auto Show Feb. 9, which had a white 2017 Lincoln-Continental on display.

Bastian was interviewed in a WIVB-TV report Tuesday night in Buffalo about the Show during which he demonstrated the legroom in the rear seat of the Lincoln Continental on display. The Lincoln-Continental has a longer wheelbase and a few more inches of rear seat legroom when compared to the Lincoln MKS sedan, which many operators have put into fleets to complement the Lincoln MKT Town Car, a crossover model.

“It feels very similar to an MKT in legroom,” Bastian told LCT. “It’s more than sufficient.”

Towne Livery‘s booth will be nearby at No. 610.

Bastian is giving away 50 small chauffeur teddy bears he purchased for $1,250, which will be donated to the Harold Berkman Memorial Fund, the philanthropic arm of the National Limousine Association. Ford/Lincoln will be selling the bears at their exhibit booth/display.
