Trump Taj Mahal Closes For Good On Oct. 10

It’s another pockmark on the struggling city’s gaming industry that puts nearly 3,000 workers out of a job and shines a light on one of the final remnants of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump’s hand print on the city.

The Trump Taj Mahal was the site of numerous industry trade shows from 1998 to 2012 under the former Limo Digest Show brand, and then its successor Chauffeur Driven in 2013 and 2014. Donald Trump was the keynote speaker at the 2005 show in October that year.
