Industry Educator, Marketer To Release Chauffeur Recruitment Kit

Limo University founder Bill Faeth
NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Limo U, an online training program for operators, will launch its latest course, The Complete Chauffeur Recruiting Kit to End Your Staffing Struggles Once and for All, on May 12.

Chauffeur recruiting ranks among the biggest challenges facing operators. As many chauffeurs leave for Uber or Lyft, operators are struggling to bring in new ones. With this course, operators will be given all the components needed to launch a successful chauffeur recruiting effort.

“What doesn’t work anymore is taking an ad and putting it on Craigslist,” said Limo U founder and Inbound Marketing Agents CEO Bill Faeth. “This shows the chauffeur the outcome of working for a [limousine] company. The biggest problem is competing against Lyft and Uber and all their propaganda they put out here.”

Since October 2015, Faeth has tested and deployed the chauffeur recruitment kit among 15 companies in 12 markets. The first three parts of the series are free, with the remaining components available for purchase.

“Chauffeur staffing is a big problem industry wide and we have found a way to do it better and faster than traditional methods used by most limousine companies,” Faeth said.

The kit includes job description copy, images, Facebook Ad targeting, and posting locations that actually work to acquire new chauffeur applicants. Faeth will demo the kit at a prelaunch Thursday during the Illinois Limousine Association meeting in Chicago.

Faeth, a former limousine operator in Nashville, Tenn., and Little Rock, Ark., drew upon his personal experiences in devising the kit curriculum. He has found chauffeur recruitment to be a challenge in both economic recoveries as well as recessions.

“I got a call from a dispatcher in 2009 and had to run out of my daughter’s dance recital to drive a client at the last minute,” Faeth recalled. “She saw me leave and started crying. We didn’t have enough chauffeurs. We’ve found a way to solve that problem with this kit.”
