RICHMOND, Va. — James Limousine, one of the largest chauffeured executive transportation services in the Richmond area, closed a deal Aug. 10 to run the operations of Blue Ridge Executive Transportation in Charlottesville.

The deal, announced in a press release on Sept. 5, provides James Limousine with operating rights over Blue Ridge Executive Transportation. While exact terms of the deal have not been divulged, James Limousine has already taken over client relations and reservations for the business. During a transition period, all Blue Ridge Executive Transportation domains will remain active to continue to serve loyal clientele.

Last year,  Blue Ridge Executive Transportation ran 10 cars and drew revenue of more than $750,000. The company’s former owners are retiring. James Limousine CEO Randy Allen saw the possibility of serving the Charlottesville area as an excellent opportunity to expand his company’s reach.

“The Charlottesville market is underserved,” Allen said in the release. “When we heard about the possibility of acquiring operations over Blue Ridge, we knew there was a huge potential for growth. We’re going into this ready to raise the bar Charlottesville residents are used to – by providing the highest quality customer service.”

James Limousine already operates 29 vehicles in Newport News, Williamsburg, and Richmond. The merger allows the company to serve the entire 200-mile corridor, from Charlottesville to Newport News spanning the state’s mountain, Piedmont, and coastal regions. The expansion comes as James Limousine marks its 25th anniversary.

James Limousine has been providing luxury transportation services to the Richmond area since 1992.
