CHICAGO — Windy City Limousine and Bus Worldwide just promoted Tricia Wilcoxen to director of business development and Erica Shor to manager of affiliate relations.

Wilcoxen, who has managed the Windy City affiliate department for nine years, built up this area of the business, resulting in more sports industry clients. Her efforts led to partnerships with the Chicago Cubs and Major League Baseball. These alliances and her leadership expertise made Wilcoxen the best fit for her newly-created position. She will continue helping Windy City grow its client base. Wilcoxen has been invited to a City of Chicago committee working on traffic around Wrigley Field, in addition to other Chicago-sponsored events.

Shor began her career in the transportation industry at Chicago’s Transportation Group (CTG) as a reservation agent. Her customer service skills and eagerness to take on added duties brought her into CTG’s affiliate department to increase business. She joined Windy City’s affiliate department in March 2017 when the two companies merged. Shor attends many industry shows and is a part of the Going Global Affiliate Group. She will oversee the affiliate team of Natasha Anderson, senior affiliate relations coordinator, and Sarai Ramirez, affiliate relations coordinator.

Windy City Limousine and Bus’s affiliate department handles thousands of trips in cities worldwide. Many of its clients work with this department to manage all transportation needs, domestic and international. The strong leadership in this area enables Windy City Limousine to work events like the Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, and many PGA tours.

“We are extremely lucky to have such great talent to be able to promote from within Windy City,” said George Jacobs, president of Windy City. “Both Tricia and Erica have been an asset to us and will continue to take us the next step in their new positions.”

Founded in 2006, Windy City Limousine and Bus (WCL) has grown to be the largest transportation company in the Chicago area and the sixth largest nationwide. Offering all types of fleet vehicles from sedans to motorcoaches, WCL is the preferred vendor for the Chicago Cubs, Bulls, White Sox, and Bears, and dozens of Fortune 500 companies.
