In addition to serving as a networking opportunity for local and affiliate members, the first annual LANJ Golf Outing will be raising funds for both the association itself and the Police Unity Tour. Key sponsors for the event include Cadillac Professional Vehicles and Ford and Lincoln Limousine and Livery Vehicles.

Individual golfers can sign up for $195 or get a $25 per person savings ($100 total) by registering a foursome for $680. The LANJ Golf Outing is exclusively open to local and affiliate members of LANJ, members of the Police Unity Tour and their guests. The deadline to register for the event is Friday, Sept. 1.

Participation for golfers includes a round of golf, use of a golf cart and all fees, plus breakfast, lunch and unlimited beverages while golfing. For anyone who would like to attend the event but not play golf, a lunch-only option also is available for $70. Members of the winning team of the 18-hole round of golf will all receive gift cards in the amount of $150 each. There will also be hole contests offering additional prizes.

“The LANJ Golf Outing provides a brand new way for our members and affiliates to network with fellow transportation operators and suppliers doing business in New Jersey in a fun and team-minded setting,” said Brian O’Neill, executive board member at LANJ. “We’re also honored to host members of the Police Unity Tour and have the opportunity to use the event as a way for us to support their important work.”

The primary focus of the Police Unity Tour is to raise awareness of Law Enforcement Officers who have died in the line of duty. Its secondary purpose is to raise funds for the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial and Museum.

The LANJ was created to ensure that New Jersey operators are treated fairly by legislators, enforcement officers and governing bodies. LANJ members provide pre-arranged chauffeur-driven transportation to corporations and private clients throughout the region.
