Silverado Stages Buys 28 New Volvo Motorcoaches

PHOENIX — Silverado Stages took delivery this month of 28 new Volvo 9700 motorcoaches to be added to its 350-bus fleet it in California, Nevada and Arizona.

The Volvo 9700 delivers safety and versatility on every trip. The well-equipped motorcoaches offer industry leading safety features, appealing design, and a fuel-efficient engine. Volvo is recognized as one of the safest motorcoaches in the industry. 

The bright and airy interior design includes comfortable seats and large tinted windows. Together with the low interior noise, superior interior climate control, and an onboard entertainment system, Silverado can offer an enhanced passenger experience.

“After extensive trials, we were pleased to confirm the value demonstrated by the 9700s, and look forward to continuing safe, quality transportation,” said John Busskohl, Silverado’s CEO.

Silverado Stages has been providing motorcoach and shuttle transportation services across California, Nevada, Arizona, and the West for more than 30 years.

The United Motorcoach Association (UMA) recognized Silverado with its 2015 Vision Award as a progressive industry leader and with its 2016 Green Highway Award for environmental initiatives. A fleet renewal plan is furthering Silverado’s commitment to safety and the environment. More than 80% of its fleet vehicles are 2013 model year or newer, featuring the latest clean-diesel, low-emission technology.
