Two charter buses carrying military personnel collided on Interstate 35W in north Fort Worth on March 19.
Police spokeswoman Cpl. Tracey Knight said while there were no major injuries, 10 people were taken to local hospitals for observation — eight from the buses and two from a passenger car that was also involved in the accident.
There were a total of 110 people on the two buses. The passengers had just completed boot camp at Fort Sill, Oklahoma and were on their way to Fort Sam Hoiuston in San Antonio.
Fort Worth officials said the vehicles involved in the accident were part of a convoy of five buses traveling together. One of the buses rear-ended another in the convoy.
