ROCKVILLE, Md.— Jeff Shanker has been named the new General Manager of RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation. Shanker, who spent 14 years with A-1 Limousine, Princeton, N.J., currently as executive vice president, was also the President of the Limousine Association of New Jersey (LANJ) before resigning that post in March when he accepted the new position.
Robert Alexander, president of RMA Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation said “The move was at the right time for our growing company. With Jeff’s vast knowledge of industry trends and operations, he’s a perfect fit for our company. His expertise will help elevate us to grow and expand our company in many aspects to better service our operations, fleet, clients and global affiliates. Shanker held numerous posts at A-1 throughout his career, including Vice President, Assistant Vice President for Risk Management & Special Projects, and Director of Safety and Insurance. He also worked as a police officer at The College of New Jersey and as an EMT for seven years.
