GCLA Readies For Annual Casino Night Fundraiser

(LCT file photo)</p>TORRANCE, Calif. — The Greater California Livery Association will hold its sixth annual Casino Night, also known as “poker night,” Saturday, Sept. 24 at the Penske Cadillac Buick GMC dealership in Torrance, site of lead sponsor Acton/SoCal Penske Professional Vehicles.

Casino Night runs from 4:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. and includes multiple rounds of poker, blackjack and roulette, along with mutliple raffle prize giveaways. Several industry vendors and association supporters will be donating the prizes.

Individual and table sponsor tickets are available. A burger dinner will be offered at 5 p.m.

The fundraising goal ranges from $15,000 to $20,000. Last year’s event raised $17,000 toward the GCLA’s ongoing lobbying efforts in Sacramento related to transportation network company (TNC) regulations and limousine vehicle-related legislation. The GCLA retains the services of the Sacramento-based professional lobbying firm, Government Affairs Consulting.
