Peeping, Raping, Stealing? It’s Supposed To Be A Ride

<p><a href="http://ift.tt/2cMxH6Z">Photo&nbsp;via FOX 13</a></p>Florida Uber Driver Accused Of Peeping In Passenger’s Home: The TNC says it has removed a driver’s access to its platform after he was accused of peering into the window of two female passengers. St. Petersburg police said 40-year-old Christopher Cuccorillo was released on $250 bond after allegedly returning to the home of two female passengers he dropped off earlier that morning. Kansas City Man Posing As Uber Driver Kidnapped, Raped Woman: Dereje Gebremariam, 42, is accused of picking up a couple that wanted a ride back to their hotel in Overland Park, Kansas. According to court records, after the male passenger asked Gebremariam to stop so he could use a restroom, Gebremariam drove off with the woman. Police said he raped her before dropping her off at the hotel. KCCI Des Moines 8 article here

Uber Driver Accused Of Stealing From Disabled Woman: Wilson Brea is employed as an Uber driver, but according the District Attorney’s office, the victim did not go through the ride-hailing app to hire him. She said he had given her rides before, so she called him directly. When Brea arrived, the woman said he went into her home to use the bathroom. Brea then allegedly grabbed the woman’s handbag and a bag of medicine. CBS Boston article here

Boston Uber Driver Nabbed On Rape Charges: Michael Vedrine, 32, of Dorchester, was arraigned in Dorchester District Court Sept. 2 on two counts each of rape and assault and battery after he allegedly attacked a woman he picked up while driving for Uber. Boston Herald article here
