MLOA To Celebrate Fifth Anniversary At International LCT Show

<p>At the beginning: MLOA officers and leader-operators Reggie Tymus, Darrell Anderson, Maurice Brewster and Travis Latham worked to launch the Minority Limousine Operators of America in February 2011.</p>Marking its fifth anniversary representing minority  operators across the country, the Minority Limousine Operators of America (MLOA) will hold its membership meeting in Las Vegas at the LCT International Show Feb. 28-March 2 to celebrate its success and plan its agenda going forward.

“We are a vibrant organization and delivering what we promised when we formed,” said MLOA President Maurice Brewster (Mosaic Global Transportation) during a membership conference call meeting Jan. 27. “We set out to offer members education, networking opportunities and business connections and we have stayed true to that mission,” he added.

The MLOA held its first meeting on Feb. 16, 2011 during the International LCT Show at the Paris Las Vegas. 

Regarding its commitment to education, the MLOA will hold its membership meeting and a roundtable discussion on “Access to Capital/Financial Services” on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Representatives from financial institutions, banks and other experts will inform members on finance strategies to secure capital to invest in their operation. In addition, the MLOA will host a suite party at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino for members and prospects on Tuesday, March 1, beginning at 10:30 p.m.,following the LCT Awards Celebration.
