Listed for sale on Hemmings, the vehicle’s classified ad details some luxurious amenities.
Not much is known about this prototype. It was produced by ZiL, a major Russian auto and truck maker known for supplying ultra-premium custom vehicles to VIPs in both the Soviet and Russian governments. A report from 2012 says the six-door ZiL 4112R took six-and-a-half years to build, and the Hemmings listing says it sports a 7.7 liter V8 engine making 400 horsepower driving a 5-speed Allison 1000 transmission. “Front suspension: independent / Rear suspension: dependent,” the ad claims.
