Special Needs Child Left On Motorcoach

Nine-year-old Gage Dery, a child who is on the autism spectrum, was left behind on a charter bus after a field trip, WPTV reports.

The Derys say when they arrived at their son’s elementary school, no one knew where he was.

The principle says the bus began to leave before teachers and chaperones conducted a final check, and Dery was on it for less than five minutes.
