Taxi medallion owners backed by some city pols are demanding the city force Uber to make half of its cars accessible to the disabled.
Owners of the pricey medallions, long seething over the plummeting prices of their medallions in the face of competition from TNCs, have seized on requirements for wheelchair accessibility which they charge tilt the playing field.
