Limo Financial Expert To Speak At BusCon Expo

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. — Former South Florida operator turned LCT financial columnist Ron Sorci takes his expertise to the BusCon Expo Sept. 21 for the session, “Transitioning from Limo Operators to a Full Service Ground Transportation Company.” 

The 9:30 a.m. session at the Indiana Convention Center will cover a variety of related topics such as how to use existing accounts to build a motorcoach revenue base; how to work with DMCs, schools and sports teams; the importance of hiring employees with motorcoach experience; and the need to understand and follow U.S. DOT rules and regulations for commercial motor vehicle carriers.

Since he left his post as CFO of Aventura Worldwide Transportation in Miami last year, Sorci has founded Professional Consulting Resources Inc., a firm that advises ground transportation operations. Before Aventura, Sorci worked as President of Precept Transportation in Dallas and U.S. Transportation in Tarrytown, N.Y. He also served as President of the National Limousine Association in 2009-10. Sorci brings together much of his 25 years of experience in a self-published book, “Selling Your Company in the Millennium.
