The Pennsylvania House of Representatives gave second consideration to a bill Oct. 18 that would allow transportation network companies (TNCs) to operate in Pennsylvania.
Both Uber and Lyft are operating on experimental licenses that are running out. The Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission granted two-year experimental licenses to operate until Jan. 29, 2017 for Uber and Feb. 12, 2017 for Lyft.
