Luxury Line Run Motorcoach Service Adds Another Texas Route

We may not have the Hyperloop One yet, but at least now Vonlane fans can travel in style between Austin and Fort Worth.

The luxury motorcoach company — which is known for its roomy, 16-seat buses and complimentary refreshments, Wi-Fi, and satellite TV — is set to open the new route on Oct. 2, just in time for Austin City Limits. There will be service seven days a week.

Uber Loses License To Operate In London

In a huge blow to Uber in the United Kingdom, London’s transport regulator has rejected its application to renew its license to operate in the city.

In a statement today, TfL said it has concluded Uber is “not fit and proper to hold a private hire operator licence.”

Florida Operator Uses Limos To Help With Hurricane Evacuations

While people took various methods to get out of the way of Hurricane Irma, some evacuated in style. Mike Denning, owner of Elegant Limousines, said he got a few calls from people up north before the hurricane, worried about their elderly relative. Denning arranged to pick them up in a limousine and take them to the airport.

Supersized Chauffeur Loses One Third Of His Body Weight

A former chauffeur who weighed 448 pounds has lost a third of his body weight after he got so fat he was told he might die and could no longer fit behind the wheel of his car.

He would consume fast food meals in his car because he was terrified restaurant chairs would break under his weight.

After reaching 448 pounds, he stayed in his room and ordered take-aways until his legs ‘turned black’ and his mother forced him to go to the doctor.
