BMW 750i xDrive Is Powerful, Luxurious

The 2016 BMW 750i xDrive luxury sedan oozes power and style. The interior is huge, but a twin-turbo V8 propels it like a muscle car. It weighs 4,600 pounds plus and has a rear seat that would do a limousine proud, but hugs curves like a sport sedan.

Cadillac CT6 Equipped With Seven-Camera Recording System

Cadillac has installed the most elaborate camera system on a car to date in its new CT6 model. The Surround Vision camera system can use four of the vehicle’s seven external cameras to record video of the CT6’s surroundings. The four recording cameras are mounted on each side mirror, the front grille and on the rear trunk lid. The other three cameras are used for the Rear Camera Mirror, the Lane Keep Assist system and the Night Vision system.

When activated, the system captures video using all four cameras in a ’round-robin’ way, though, only when the CT6 has been disturbed in some way. It can also be used at all other times to provide a 360-degree display to help with maneuvering. The system has a second mode too, which uses only the front and rear mounted cameras to record video while driving.

Rolls-Royce Reveals Vision Driverless Car

Rolls-Royce on June 16 offered the world a glimpse of Vision Next 100, the automaker’s vision for a driverless future. That vision was manifested in the form of the 103EX, a luxury autonomous vehicle that’s free of a steering wheel and equipped with an ivory-colored “throne.” The 103EX, billed as a a “grand sanctuary,” is one of four “Vision Vehicles” Rolls-Royce parent BMW announced back in March during its centennial celebration.

Cadillac Escalade Earns Title of Most Satisfying Luxury SUV

The awards just keep piling up for the 2016 Cadillac Escalade. Having already been named a Consumer Guide Best Buy for 2016, the sixth-generation Escalade has also earned the title of Most Satisfying Luxury SUV in AutoPacific’s 2016 Vehicle Satisfaction Awards.

Overall, the Escalade received a score of 810, which was the best Vehicle Satisfaction Award (VSA) score in history, earning it the President’s Award. This prestigious award is reserved for the vehicle that is able to break the previous high score.

Scores were determined via survey responses from people who own a 2015 or 2016 model year vehicle. More than 65,000 new vehicle owners participated in the most recent survey, which measures how satisfied each owner is with their new vehicle.
