LOS ANGELES — The Greater California Livery Association this week lined up a new board of directors for 2017, including a new president who will be based in the thick of political activities in Sacramento.
David Kinney, owner and CEO of API Global in Sacramento, was elected the new president of the GCLA, succeeding Orange County operator Kevin Illingworth who served the last three years.
As an operator in the state capital and the outgoing treasurer of the GCLA, Kinney will bring his hometown familiarity and leadership experience to the group’s legislative and regulatory efforts. In fact, the first major GCLA event in the New Year will be its lobbying day at the State Capitol on Feb. 8.
